The Hope Factory 2011

2010 was an exceptional year for our company, with excellent delivery on all our strategic deliverables. We were especially excited by the many funders who have chosen to partner with us, which means that we will be able to achieve even more in 2011.

We have chosen to continue to focus on Port Elizabeth in particular, as the impact that we will be able to have on the city is enormous. What is really exciting is that we are already starting to see Hope Factory entrepreneurs' businesses as we drive down the street.

Growth leads to more growth and money creates the opportunity for more money to go around in the PE economy, so a virtuous cycle continues. This year we will be starting another phase of The Hope Factory, namely The Hope Factory Hub, which will provide space for our entrepreneurs to grow their businesses at very low rental rates. Along with that there will be shared services offered, and of course solid mentoring.

We see a prosperous Port Elizabeth and are working hard with the community to ensure that this will come to pass, and that it will bring opportunity for all.
